Greg Shaw championed denim delinquent in Who Put the Bomp. Not long before Greg passed, he said of dd, "It's not very scholarly." We laughed. Yeah, that's the last thing it was meant to be. dd lamented that rock writing was infiltrated by "writers" who wrote full reviews dissecting lyrics. Bullshit. Who gives a fuck about lyrics, anyway?
It's about the feeling.
The euphoria only guitars turned to 11 can deliver - in other words, All-American rock & roll.
