Baby Boomers, Sexuality and Aging

Society doesn’t smile favorably on older men and women as sexual beings. They’re frequently treated and labeled as sexless. Truth told, all of us are sexual beings from birth to death. The expression of that sexuality (sexual expression) plays out differently for every older person. Some choose to be sexually active until the day they die. Some elect to forego traditional sexual activity late in life. That does not mean that they stop feeling sexual, however.
Women over 55, especially, have no role models for being sexual. As young women, these “boomers” were strong and determined to change how western culture accepted sexuality in the 60’s. Today, that determination to be sexual remains. However, with a tsunami of change in lives, and a youth centric culture, it is difficult for older women to find an identity that allows for full sexual expression. In this course, we’ll look at how to handle the insecurities around body image, communication with partners, dating, and performance issues for both men and women.
Sexuality can be a life force that keeps older women and men feeling vital, young, juicy, and alive. This course teaches you the critical, sensitive skills needed to enable the sexual life force to be fully expressed throughout a lifetime.
