Aleida Heinz
Dr. Aleida Heinz holds a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) in San Francisco, is a Board Certified Sexologist by the American College of Sexologists (ACS) and member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). She holds a Master’s degree in Sexology and Couple Clinical Counseling from the Center for Psychiatric, Psychological and Sexology Research of Venezuela (CIPPSV) in Caracas, Venezuela. Also, she studied Analytical Psychology in the Jungian Institute of Analytical Psychology of Venezuela, has an advanced training in Rational-Emotive-Behavior Therapy (REBT), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Family Science and Psychology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Dr. Heinz began her career as a couple counselor in 1998 in Caracas, Venezuela. She is dedicated to providing the knowledge, techniques, counseling, communications and conflict management necessary to support a healthy and loving relationship. She provides coaching for relationship building as well as increasing intimacy. She has developed step-by-step programs that benefit individuals and couples. For many years Dr. Heinz has been invited to numerous radio and television programs as well as to international congresses. Nowadays, Dr. Heinz has a private practice (Spanish-English) in Charlotte, NC, and writes articles and columns for various newspapers and magazines regarding healthy relationships & sexuality.
